(This is the email I sent to my community, checking on them during the COVID-19 crisis.)
How are you doing?
This is becoming my default greeting during this COVID-19 crisis.
But, it’s Friday. We made it.
I’m not sure about you, but this has been one of the longest weeks of my life.
As I reflect on the week and think about next week’s plan, I just wanted to pause and check in on you all.
How are you doing? Shoot me an email (bill.rice@kaleidico.com) and let me know you’re there.
- What was the best part of your week?
- What are you thankful for?
- What are your top concerns as you think about next week?Â
As for me…
I’m thankful that my entire family is healthy, safe, and provided for.
I’m thankful for my team, they’re hustling to handle the surge in COVID-19 crisis response requests from clients – web redesigns for alerts and rapid communication, content creation and email copywriting to support new and relevant communications.
As for concerns, I’m redesigning Kaleidico to be responsive to clients’ new normal.
All businesses are being forced to rapidly pivot their products and services to an entirely different market environment. Consumer and business life has radically changed.
Ironically, work and business didn’t halt as many of us thought it would, it’s just shifted to different, highly urgent priorities.
For us, this has caused a surge in businesses needing help moving operations 100% online.
As I build out my plan to shift and build out support for these new demands and opportunities, I’m documenting how to do this crisis sales and marketing. This will include general crisis marketing guides for CMOs and marketing directors, like you, and specific guides for mortgage lenders, law firms, senior living communities, and emerging tech startups – industries that we’ve traditionally supported.
What would be helpful to include in these crisis marketing guides?
I’ll be sharing the following:
- How to monitor and predict market changes
- How to build your pivot plan for business sustainability
- How to create sales pipeline retention programs
- How to identify and pursue new opportunities that are being created
What else do you want to know? What other challenges should I cover for you?
Okay, I’m off to work! Have a great Friday. Stay healthy.
Reach out to me if you need anything.
