We love guest posts here at Kaleidico Labs. Thanks for thinking of us!
Guest posting can be an awesome marketing strategy for your freelance business. It brings traffic, readers, and maybe even clients. And we would love to be a part of that success. We do a fair share of guest posting ourselves.
Like everything we do here at Kaleidico Labs, we like to keep it simple, practical, and a short path to results–Here’s what it takes to increase you chances of approval.
Make it Useful
We’re always looking for simple, practical, easy to understand ways to develop successful digital marketing strategies–SEO/PPC, email marketing, social media, growth hacking–to grow website traffic, generate sales leads, produce online revenue, and create sustainable businesses.
Kaleidico Labs is a community of folks seeking and exchanging digital marketing tips and tactics. Your guest post doesn’t need to be big brand marketing theory, but please make it useful. The simple things you have tried, whether successful or failures, usually make for the best articles.
Make it Unique
Guest posting is a gift to the community. We know that often you want to get a little traffic or a link in return and we are happy to oblige, but we expect you to provide a unique article for our community. You are welcome and encouraged to reference your guest post on your blog–even include a brief synopsis. But, please don’t republish the same article on other websites, including your own.
Make it Relevant
Take a minute and skim through the archives of Kaleidico Labs. Get a feel for our community and the types of blog posts we publish. This is what our readers like and expect. Try to make your guest post relevant to the digital marketing niche and to our readers that are looking for this type of advice.
Make it Well-Written
Our readers expect top-shelf stuff. That means we’ll be picky. It needs to be good content, good grammar, no misspellings, and none of this mass-produced link-building article fodder. A few of the things that we expect in every guest post we accept, include:
- Punchy title that draws in the reader’s curiosity
- Strong opening paragraph that hooks the reader
- Short, but descriptive subheadings to pull the reader along
- Short and tightly written paragraphs and bulleted lists
- A conclusion the sparks discussion and comments
A Couple of Other Things
- Provide your guest post in Word format ready to post, including HTML links
- Make sure you have edited and rewritten at least a couple of times
- Credit ALL sources
- Feel free to link to credible authoritative sources within the article
- Reserve you personal links to a well written bio or resource box
Email us and attach the guest post you’d like to submit for consideration. Include a brief overview of who you are and provide a link to your site or your blog.
We will be as responsive as possible. Please be patient. We will reply and let you know if your guest post is approved.
